Hey all, I have a DV7 1279wm and I plan on upgrading the cpu, and I would also like to throw in another hard drive and run both in a raid 0 config. I know
the mobo is made by Compal, but it's tough to tell their products apart let
alone download a bios originally designed for their boards. Does anyone know
of a way to get Intels matrix raid to work on these things?. Or is there a bios
out there that can be flashed that is compatible with these laptops which
will unlock the full potential of the DV7 series. The last thing I plan on doing is swapping out the LCD for the 1600X900 which will look a little crisper.
Any ideas?. Getting raid may need to wait but I'm sure it can be done or
they wouldnt have put an extra drive bay in the chassis.

    Thanks
