I'm not aware of any company that makes that for the HP Pavilion line, but there are skins that you can buy. The skins do protect the machine from light scratches and scuff marks.

Thanks, but I was really looking for a hard plastic see thru case. I spoke with a Mark from Techshell, & he said they may look into a hp line 1st or 2nd quarter 2008...I guess we'll see?

I would be surprised if they made one... The only reason they make ones for apple is because they rarely change the lay out of their laptops. The dimensions, port locations, and style are the same for 3+ years.

Hp on the other hand rolls out a new layout every 18 months. Making 3 cases for the macbook/macbook pro that last for 4 years, and are marketed to people who are extra worried about scratching their stuff, and appeals to something like 20% of the laptop market makes a lot more fiscal sense then designing 7 or 8 cases every 18 months that are marketed to people who generally dont care if their notebook shows signs of wear, and only have 10% of the market.

i dont think companies would actually make a hard case for individual pc laptops. of course macs have them, but then again there is only one mac,not a hundred diff companies of macs lol.

my notebook is only a week old and i still have the sticky plastic on the back.i would like to find some stickers or get a laptop skin and cut it in two,to place on the palm rests....after i get it back from getn a new hdd lol
