    Spectre X360 15" SD Card reader wont write. Help

    Hi everybody,

    My HP warranty just expired . I just realized my SD card reader will read but will not write or Format all brand SD cards. Machines indicate it was "write protect". Yes I did slide the SD card to enable write.

    Tried the diskpart and the REGEDIT solution didn't work.

    Anybody has a better solution?

    You say it will not format all brand(s) of SD cards? Could you try to format one of those in another computer? If that works then you know that the program that you are using on the HP to format is failing. There are other programs that you can download to format SD cards. Maybe someone here will recommend one.
