I have a Skylake FullHD Spectre and I noticed a strange behaviour.

When the laptop is running on battery and displays a mostly dark image, the brightness flickers slightly. It doesn't jump at you but it's really annoying. Just a dark grey image in Paint displayed in full screen does it.

If I plug the laptop in or switch to the high performance power plan, the issue goes away.

I tried to deactivate adaptive brightness, but it doesn't fix the issue.
Is anybody seeing this as well, or any idea on how to fix it?

You have to deactivate the Autobrightness in the windows settings as well as in the Intel setting.

Right click on your desktop--> graphic properties. In the opening windows click on energy/battery than choose the battery profile on the left side and then deactivate the display energy saving by intel.
