wow i just got it like 20 mins ago plugged it in and after 5 minutes my hdd drive temp dropped from 45 to now 41 after few mins i can feel the cool air from underneath the notebook because i use an external mouse i feel the cool air pushing against it, it doesnt bother me but might some but this thing is quite powerful :p i havent really noticed much of a drop with the CPU temp but the HDD definately because when i turned it off it went up 3-4 degrees in couple mins with the same cpu usage as when it dropped i am going to do more extensive testing :) like 20 mins just sitting here with cooler and without to see idle temps and stuff but definately is working espicially the HDD ;)

btw its a dv2000t and i got a 7200RPM Hitachi Travelstar so it naturally runs a bit hotter than the 5400 which i can definately confirm. but this thing definately cools it down signifigantly (sp?)
