Is there any way to use standalone version HP Cool Sense (without that crappy hp assistant) on dv6-6150ew on windows 7 64bit?

    - i have installed HP software framework 4.6.10.1 sp59202
    - after i install HP Support Assistant 7.0.39.15 sp58915 of course Cool Sense works but there is crapload of other trash that gets run with HP support assistant too

When i try to install some standalone version of HP cool sense like
    - 2.0.0a8 sp52814.exe
    - 2.10.42 sp59606.exe

    I always get this error:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Do anyone know how to install HP cool sense 2 or maybe have link for standalone HP cool sense v1 (that seems to be included in HP Support Assistant) or maybe know a program that will let me control my laptop fan (because so far only HP cool sense from HP support assistant could do it, all other programs failed).
