    Hey everyone. I'm planning on ordering a DV2000t online and I was wondering if you order the Standard 5-7 Business Days delivery if it ever comes before 5 business days? You see I want to ship it directly to my college and I don't want it to get there before I do because there won't be anyone there to recieve it. I can't order it now because I live overseas.

    it depends where are you located... im at west coast and my notebook came 3 days after the shipping date (i have the free 5-7 business day selected)

    Most likely it will not be sent straight to your dorm, but to a package facility on the campus. Many colleges have one, and it will most likely be there.(Stanford eh?)

    Well actually I checked and it turns out I can't ship it until I check in becasue it will be sent straight to the dorm a so I wonder, is the express 2 day delvery thing worth it?

    I wouldnt count on HP's shippind date as a set date, sicne they do ship early in most cases. I have had laptops arrive well before the scheduled build date, so I would wait or order only about a week or so in advance. The 2 day shipping is not worth it and in most cases it will take more than 2 days since the laptops have to go through customs which usually results in a delay.
