I recently purchased this laptop from the staples that I worked at for about 650 after may in rebates.

The thing that drew me to it was the pricing aswell as the crisp look.

What I want to know is if this laptop is a good model/make by the specs I will supply.

    Specifications:
    AMD Athlon® 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology (2.00 GHz)
    3072MB DDR2 System Memory
    200GB (5400RPM) Hard Drive (SATA)
Super Multi 8X DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support
    802.11b/g WLAN
    15.4" WXGA High-Definition Brightview Widescreen (1280 X 800) Display
    NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150m (UMA)
    Windows® Vista Home Premium OS
    1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty
Also Includes: 5-in-1 digital media reader, HP Imprint Finish & HP Webcam with Integrated Microphone, Mobile Stereo Earbud Headphones, HP Mobile Remote Control, 3 USB 2.0 port

The thing that I think is wierd is that I seem to get more FPS on certain games on my old computer which has 2 gb of ram and a 64 mb integrated video card and has a pentium 4 with ht. And on my laptop which has 3 gigs of ram a dual core processor and about 1 gb of shared video memory it gets less. Also I would like to know if I would have any problems running Team Fortress Classic 2? I already run counter strike source and it seems to run fine but I know TF2 is a higher quality game.

Remember it's not the amount of memory in the graphics card, it's the card itself. What card did you have on the old system? Because the one you have now won't play very many new games at even the lowest settings.
