When ever I start my ZV6000 from a hibernation state, I always have to reset the screen brightness to full again to be able to view it.......... :(

Does anyone know how to get it to default to full brightness, or any user determined brightness at startup from hibernation???

I have the same problem with my zv6000  . I read somewhere (I think in the very long "zv6000" thread) that this might be a glitch in the power scheme modes. I've already tried tinkering with the different modes including "desktop" to no avail. I've just learned to live with it and adjust it back up after booting or coming out of standby. Perhaps HP will fix this with an updated driver.
