    Status LED issue on Compaq nc4200

    I have a Compaq nc4200 notebook since November 2005. Status LEDs (Wi Fi, power, battery, HDD) started being erratic some monhs ago and now they are always off. Does anybody know if this could be a software issue and what driver/register value/file could be responsible for the event?
