I don't own your laptop, I see audio RealTek driver under Vista. The Windows XP should be:
You must install this first:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...softwareitem=ob-45957-1&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
then:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...cc=us&swItem=wk-48131-1&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
I am in the process of getting 12.1" tx1000z laptop and I downloaded every possible Windows XP as I can. I got the idea from:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/...38316&admit=-682735245+1187118769866+28353475
HP web site has great search engine. Go to Windows Vista download page and look at title for each driver and search the the drivers you are looking for and you will be surprised how many drivers are available for Windows XP.
I could not find Windoww XP driver for LAN from HP web site but I googled and found this:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...&GetDown=false&Langid=1&Level=5&PFid=6&PNid=6
According to HP web site, your network controller is Realtek RTL8101.
If you didn't install Windows XP Service Pack 2, get it from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...BE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en
SP2 should make it easier to run your notebook with Windows XP.
Good luck.
Still drivers for dv9500t (XP) need!
