Hi everybody, I'm getting an 11% Wear level reported by Battery Bar and HW Monitor.

I've already contacted HP and they simply had me run HP Support Assistant and it listed the Battery as good.

I want to squeeze as much battery life out of the HP Envy 14 as much as the next person but I can't do that with my battery potentially being defective.

Does anyone else have strange battery wear levels? The laptop was ordered two days after launch and its only 2 to 3 weeks old.

MY wear level jumped from 3.5 to 13.5% in like a day once. I think it's just false reporting. I think you will see it drop back down if you use the battery regularly. I did a clean Win 7 install and it went back to 3.6%. shugs I guess if you are getting anywhere from 3-4 hrs its normal.

My wear went from 5% to 3% over the course of a couple weeks.

    reading might not be right.
