Just as the title says really, has anyone tried streaming on an Omen 15t or 17t? You would think with the options available on a laptop like this it would easily be able to handle it?
I've recently tried doing this while using OBS and xsplit and neither one could really handle the workload when it came to streaming the more graphically intensive games. Control will constantly stutter in OBS and basically be unwatchable. More or less the same with borderlands 3. Xsplit was odd in that it would only pick up certain games like Civ 6, but borderlands 3 would just show a black screen. Civ was actually watchable but there wasn't much going on.
Now, another thing is I don't know if my settings are all that fine tuned but maybe that's a possibility? In OBS, I'm trying to render games in 720p at 30fps, bitrate is 4000 kbps. That seems like it's doable? I'm leaning more towards maybe those programs are optimized for laptop hardware? I have no idea. I do know that my desktop i7 8700k and 1080ti can more than handle those tasks so you'd think this laptop would be able to?

Can't you just use Geforce Experience? That's hardware accelerated.

So that's interesting... It seems to actually be smoother but now for some reason it's stuttering and pausing every 6 seconds or so. Not sure how to even fix that.
