Sorry for the repost, but noone seems to answer my question. I have dead/stuck pixels (i dont know which) on my pavilion dv6 laptop. Strange part is i can move it, so its not dead. It doesnt give off ANY light so its not stuck... It might be caused by overheating which is a small possibility, because i exceededly play video games and i have a little overheating problem. The side where fan is too hot to touch sometimes when i play. A week ago i had little dots at the edge of the screen, i didnt care. Now its as big as my thumb and i can move it, i did everything i knew, but couldnt solve it. Please help. (btw i did not do any physical damage on the screen and the computer is around 4 years old (time i bought it).) IMG_0695.jpg IMG_0696.jpg IMG_0697.jpg

Oh jeez! Looks like you have a busted screen. Do you warranty? Maybe you can get a replacement screen on eBay if no warranty.

Edit. My guess is the screen ruptured and now the liquid is freely moving inside the screen. :-( Sorry man!

Maybe over time closing it from that corner caused stress on the screen, and eventually it gave up. Or maybe where you store it there is pressure on that particular corner. Lots of potential reasons.

I dont think it is caused by pressure because its always on my desk, open. I play so much video games and my computer heats up so much. Could that be the reason?
Because i mostly dont even put it into its bag, it just sits there on my desk...
