Verify that you service door/access panel is fully shut. This is the plastic part that you can remove to access the components. If it is open the slider will be stuck on the side of the HDMI port. Try opening it an then closing it again. The service door can be a pain to get closed properly.
    Good Luck

    EDIT:
To verify this I tried it and mine got stuck too :( To fix it I remove the service door, then pried the battery out, put the service door back on, and finally put the battery back in. Hope this works

    How to remove service door:
Is the the slider stuck on the side near the HDMI port. If it is, try pushing it a little further to that side. Part of the service door should start to poke up. It should be enough to get a fingernail/flat screw drive into. Then just gently lift it up. You will hear cracking, this is just the sound of the clips unfastening.

    How to remove battery:
The middle of the battery should jut up a little bit. You should be able to insert a fingernail/flat screw drive into. All you need to do is lift up and it should come out. Once it comes out the slider will return to the center.

How to reinstall the service door:
Align the base of the door and slowly start applying force to snap the door back into place. Start by fastening the outer sides then move up towards the side near the battery.

    If that helps please rep
