Hello! I bought brand new, not refurbished HP Verve. It's perfect, but I have a problem with pixel.
It's very strange... When you turn on screen and work for about an hour - everything is fine. Than, one of pixels goes green. So far nothing helped... :( When I switch computer off and wait for a while this pixel starts working again, but in about an hour goes green again...
Can you please give any suggestions?
    Thank you

There are a few programs that can unstuck stuck pixels. Success rates are low but its possible.

Sounds like your pixel is unstable though..

I have tried couple of them - left laptop for few hors running it - no success. Will try jscreenfix - I heard it is the best one. I tried to apply pressure - but a bit afraid that I might break my screen.
    Any more suggestions?

    Rub the screen gently

I cant think of anything else. HP wont replace your LCD under warranty for 1 pixel. If you cant stand it then consider returning it and ordering a new one

How gently? Do I use a pen or smth like that? Or just finger? Do I need to press it - or rub around?
Is there a chance I can break anything and create a dead pixel?

If your screen has the glossy finnish (hard plastic!) its probably not going to work anyway, and you are risking furthur damage as you don't know what your doing. If you break the screen hp definately won't replace it, call them first and see if they can do anything.

Yeah, it's glossy :) Thank you for your advice. I guess I'll call them first.
Jscreenfix didn't help - I left it running for a night - no result :(
