For anyone interested, I measured the temperature of the hot area to the right of the mousepad on my X6000. This was done with an handheld, infared laser device. I only measured it during normal internet surfing, not heavy duty gaming, etc. Max temp I read was 100 degrees F.

I just received my X6000 a couple of days ago. That is the one of the first things I noticed. I can’t wait the winter. I now have my own personal hand warmer.
