    I have an Envy 15 that's 1366x768 glossy screen.

I want to swap to a 1600x900 matte screen.

Is this possible? if so, where's a good place to get the screen? I dont trust ebay (even though I bought my envy from ebay), some of the sellers are very bad at shipping and I wouldn't want to deal with a cracked screen or something random..

Yes it is possible. HP parts is a good place to start.

BTW, do you have the service manual? It lists the proper part numbers.

Not sure if I still have the manual, I can try looking to see if I still have the envy sd card.

    Anyone got a link?

The HP Parts website is very expensive..

15.6-inch LED widescreen SVA BrightView (BV) LED display panel (IMR, Beats) for $300?

    9 Cell Battery for $200?

Also, the screens listed are all 1366X768 for my model. What can i do?

Are there any other alternative website that carry parts?
