The Synaptics driver listed on the first page of the Envy 15 drivers thread (15.0.24.0) has a major problem. If you install this driver, it disables Tap Zones, so there is no possible way to select a tap zone for right click. This is a deal breaker for me because the physical buttons on the Envy 15 touchpad are unwieldy and I need to be able to tap to right-click instead of pressing the button with my thumb.

In order to be able to tap for right-click I had to go back to Synaptics driver

    14.0.11.2 20Oct09
    (sp45927.exe)

Do any of the other more recent drivers (prior to 15.0.24.0) allow tap zones?

EDIT: It seems the recent drivers do have Tap Zones functionality, but it is initially disabled and must be enabled in the Device Manager

I am using the most current drivers from HP and tap zones work fine for me. You must set them up yourself though.

If you can't find a solution, you can try the feature in Two Finger Scroll to use options like two finger tap or others for right click

How do you get to this 2-finger scroll settings menu?

The only menu I have access to is the following:

this is a epic win just for the fact that 3 fingers can be used for right click
