    is it possible to sync a pda that has IR with the remotes IR port?

    I haven't yet tried syncing my Axim x50 with either the dv2000 or dv6500 - but it has worked just fine with the IR port on my x1010 in the past. Especially since, as far as I know, the dvx500 series have an IR port that just happens to be used for the remote - vice being there exclusively for the remote. The sync process was painfully slow over IR though - did you lose your USB cable?
