    Hey all. So I have a habit of hitting my Fn key and it is gettting annoying becuase if i just hit it the hp system information comes up. How do i stop this? lol

    There is a setting in the BIOS.

    uninstall all that hp bloatware, that'll fix er lol

    I did a clean install and switched the BIOS settings way before this occured. It just happens when i hit Fn and nothing else. Kind of weird.

    I bet you are REALLY pressing 'fn + Esc' ... or if you hold down 'fn', release, followed by an 'Esc' seems to bring it up also. This also work the same way with my 6426us. Actually, I think OTHER (but NOT ALL) 'fn' combos work the same way, i.e. 'fn' release, 'b' works, but 'fn + Space' must be held together.
