Try reinstalling that program and it might update the details.. Its from HP total care last time i checked

I have seen this happen on my system as well in the past. Dont know why it happes but upgrade/downgrade of the BIOS results in this problem with the HP help/total care software. If you still want to check the serial number/product number on screen then try using the Fn + esc key combination. This should display a small window with the information you want.
P.S- You will need to have the HP Quicklaunch buttons software installed for the Fn keys to work. -
wow fn + esc is cool

Hi guys!
So here the screen shot from FN + ESC...
On Bios... I can't see Model and Serial Number they appears blank...
Anyone know where can I donwload original bios ? So I'll try to downgrade Bios version...
Has anyone can help me? -
Don't downgrade the BIOS just for this. An older BIOS will have bugs that were fixed in the newer version. If you need the product name and serial number look on the service tag on the bottom of your computer.

Hello Jimbo,
I'd like to have this information on my system informtion...
There's a way to do this? -
Sorry, I don't know.
This is in HP Help & Support? I figured that was bloatware and deleted it from my computer a long time ago. I vaguely recall from an older HP notebook (which I still have) that HP does have some software that can be used to modify this information, but it might only have modified the tags in the BIOS, and I seem to recall that only HP techs would have access to the program. -
By the way, and you may already know this, but the information you're seeing is not from the BIOS itself.
If you didn't already know this, to access the BIOS you'll have to press the designated key when you start up your computer, before it boots into Windows. The key on my current laptop (DV1000) is F10, but previous models I've owned used other keys so if F10 doesn't work you'll have to read your manual or try rebooting a few times until you can read the message that flashes by quickly on the screen. If you don't know what the settings in the BIOS do, don't change anything. Just look at the information presented then go to Exit, then select Exit without saving. -
Has anyone can help me?

You're still having this problem? yikes...9 months...
-
@RaphaBR, this is not pertaining to your problem, and you might know it already, that if you press ALT key while pressing print-screen button, it will only capture the active window, not whole desktop, thereby reducing the size of pics you are having to upload. You can crop the pictures also. Sorry, dont know anything abt your actual problem though.
