    The clock speed changes dynamically. It will increase/decrease as & when needed(try running a cpu intensive program to see the clock speed change). If you want it to run at 2.2GHz change the power settings to "Always On". Default is set at Portable/Laptop. I would leave it at default as it helps in keeping the heat down and extends the battery life.

    i just downloaded mobilemeter to check the stats and it's showing me that my "clock speed" is 1.0 GHz whats up with that? i have a 2.2GHz processor, the 3500+ in there. I'm plugged in btw, i tried unplugging and it didn't change. anyone have any suggestions?
