Hey Guys, How do I perform a system restore with hard drive reformatting on the dv1000? I can't seem to find the option anywhere. The restore CD only reinstalls the factory software but does not reformat my hard drive. Any suggestions?

I don't think it possible off of the patition you need to create a restore CD then do it from there

Is there such thing as a clean install where everything is erased on the computer and only the OS is reinstalled? I don't want to have to manually delete all my files and then reinstall the OS.

I actually don't have a recovery partition on my hard drive, instead the restore CD rom came with the computer. I don't know where to find the reformat hard drive option on the cd-rom or if there even is one.
