    Ohk, so i own a Hp dv6817tx, that comes with a T5750, i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to the T7500, AND if so is it worth the upgrade?

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Yes the T7500 is compatible. (Socket M)

    If your paying around $50 for the T7500 then id have to say Yes.

    Performance difference between them on general applications like browsing/chatting/music is little to none.

    Only CPU intensive programs will make the most out of the T7500

    Would it make any noticable improvements on my gaming?
    And/or What is the highest preformance CPU i can get for my motherboard, its a PM965/GM965/GL960
