Any reason why the T7500 is stuck at 1.6ghz?

I thought that the chip clocks itself down when on low load but goes up once it sees load. I'm running Orthos to put 100% load on the machine, but the Clock won't go past 1.6ghz as reported by CPU-Z

The multiplier should switch to 11X once it sees full load but it seems to be stuck at 8x.
I would also like to add that it's ALWAYS stuck at 200x8 (1.6ghz), Idle, full load, no matter what, its always stuck at 1.6ghz..... I have no idea why.

Any ideas, this is on 2500t notebook with VISTA premium.

GRRR FIXED>.. VISTA was stuck on a whack power setting. Changed to maximum performance :). all is well, ill leave the thread up for others

    Check your battery setting.
