I am planning to order the TM2 from the HP USA Online Shopping page and have the laptop ship to an USA P.O. Box for pick up. (I live in Canada).

I am planning to order the TM2 online with the following configuration:
    • Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    • Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo SU9600 (1.60GHz, 800MHz FSB) w/512MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4550 Graphics
    • 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    • 500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
    • Webcam + Fingerprint Reader
    • Intel Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth
    • No HP Mobile Broadband
    • 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (standard)
    • No additional software
    • No additional accessories
    • No printers
    • No HP Total Care
    ----------------------------
    Est. Price: $1,624.99

    1. It is worth buying the extra RAM from HP?
    2. If not, what RAM should I buy from third party?
    3. Are there any other features or accessories I should be getting?
    4. Is HP Total Care worth getting?
    5. Is HP Total Care covered in Canada?
    6. What is the average shipping time?

Answers inserted below - but note that there is a Tablet PC Forum (see tabs at top of page) with an entire TM2 thread.

Check out the HP TM2 threads in the Tablet PC "affiliate" of NBR. Strangely, you have to re-register for it, and it won't drag along your signature, your # of posts, or your Rep pts.
