    Hello...
I have a tm2t-1100 with a broken screen hinge (IE... completely disconnected).
It works, fine, and has a Core i5 CPU, 6GB RAM, etc...
So, I disassembled it and took the screen off.
I figured that I could use the base (computer, keyboard, touchpad) and connect it to a TV (HDMI).
I never got signal, on the TV.
When the screen was still connected, I had it connected to my projector (HDMI).
Is the screen connection required, even though it won't be used?
    JJ

    Hi Fa310tx,

Does not appear that anyone has provided any feedback on your inquiry. Given that fact I am going to suggest that you also check in with
the HP community by going to HP. com under Product Support and Troubleshooting to see if any members have in fact
had the same experience as you with your TouchSmart tm2t notebook.

    Cheers,
    Cheron/SoMeAm
