Hey all. I have a very interesting problem. Basically right when I got my laptop the tv tuner remote that was included with the tv tuner kit. worked perfectly with my laptop, like when I would press the green windows logo button it would open Windows Media Center.

But my problem is. I did a clean install of windows and the remote barely works. If I press the windows button on the remote nothing happens.

If I open Media Center manually, then it works but is very limited. Numbers buttons don't work, just directional buttons.

I have no clue why that happened but if someone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance

I don't think that's the problem. I'll try it anyway.

You mean Reinstall the driver and WMC?

It might be a case of a disabled service...
