    Hi --

It seems as if this question should be posted in the DV4T owner's lounge but I cannot find where to initiate a thread there.

Would like to buy a TV tuner card for my new DV4T. At the time I ordered, was specifically told that there were no TV tuner cards for that model.

Found this one today at the HP website: HP ExpressCard TV Tuner for Windows Vista (RM436AA#ABA). As the DV4T is not mentioned as a compatible notebook with this card, I started an online chat with HP which did not go well. First, the repr told me that I already had a TV tuner card that was not configured (wrong!), then he told me to send back my computer for exchange for one with a card. As everything else is going well with this notebook, I am reluctant to do that.

Can anyone tell me if they have tried the above item and found it to be compatible?

    Thanks.

    Zan

I do know that when the Dv4t was first offered on the HP website, there was an option for a TV tuner. I think it was like a 100 dollar option. Shortly thereafter they took that option off the website. I do not know if there was a problem with them (which I have not seen any complaints posted from people who were able to get there orders in) or if there was a shortage of tuners, or something else.
