    Hi,

    I didn't find information about this on the forums(maybe I didn't searched well)
    but there is some way to get the big remote control working without the usb ir receiver, just like the express card one?

    The 9500 already has an IR port on the front

    It's not possible :-(

    The IR on the front of the HP notebooks is a slimmed down version of IR that only works with the small remote that fits in the expresscard slot.
