So my relative aasked me to fix their laptop. Their baby "smashed" on the keyboard and as a result the space bar does not work anymore. So i took out the keyboard and unplugged it. Then i plugged it back in, but now when i turn on the laptop and the HP Logo appears the laptop Constantly beeps. I tried unplugging and repluggin but no luck. Anyone know anything that might help?

Usually that means there is a key stuck down. Try tapping on them in turn and see if you can figure out which one doesn't feel right.

Turn it on without the keyboard plugged in, see if it still does it.

Sounds like you need to replace the keyboard anyway. Check ebay
