This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     but I bought a Dell Inspiron 9100 today:

    3.0Ghz Pentium 4
    512mb RAM
    60gb HD @ 7200rpm
    128mb ATI mobility Radeon 9700

    that is the most important specs.
    I was just fed up with HP taking the 9600 off of their zx5000, so I went another route. Plus with the 20% coupon it came in at the $1600 I wanted to spend. But I just wanted to thank everyone again for their help.
