Dark Umber or Steel Grey?
-
Neither. Switchable graphics is a huge issue at the moment...
to answer your question I had two of the dark umber units. nice color. steel/silver/chrome/gray is so BLAH. -
I prefer Dark Umber much more
-
Definitely umber, it seems more sophisticated lol, steel grey if your young, umber for the more mature.

dark umber is the color of your poo! steel gray, all the way!
-
I didn't think I would like the Dark Umber, but it is definitely nice. It's a welcome change from all the other black/grey laptops on the market.
-
Dark Umber is pretty nice, but it seems to be a fingerprint magnet for me, and yes, I'm talking about clean hands!

Having had both and I can say that they are both very sleek, sexy laptops. The umber adds sophistication and even more sleekness and sets it apart from all the other silver/black laptops out there. The umber is like a deep espresso color with brushed hints of copper/bronze.

I think I prefer the umber, although the steel color is still pretty good looking and I am not going to bother sending my computer back if I get it.
-
dark umber is sleek, classy, sexy, and cool.
the silver is just so...plain. -
My preferences aside, I'm gonna play a little devil's advocate.
Who thinks Dark Umber will become like faux wood paneling in basements in old houses or on the side of older cars
Conversely, is Silver played out? Do you think having silver will make you look like you have a drab and plain laptop kind of like a taupe hallway in an institution? -

Steel Grey \m/
Well,a forensic expert would sure like the dark umber (with all those finger prints, LOL ) ! -
Dark Umber for sure, it just sounds cool.

. The longest most people use laptops is usually 5 years or so.
