I bought my HP pavillion 11 months ago and it was almost perfect, never made any problem, untill 2 days ago, when all of a sudden the bettary began to discharge so quickly (in 7-10 minutes). Well, it was not a gradual process, if it were, I could have thought that the quality of the battery is poor. But I am sure the problem is somewhere else, since three days ago it took the battery almost one hour tho discharge, and now it's only 10 minutes.
Does anybody have any idea what may cause this problem, and how I can fix it?
    Thanx!

Try calibrating your battery. if it doesn't work you may have to replace your battery for new one.

Maybe the problem is in BIOS?

i don't think its in bios. it doesn't have anything to do with discharging your battery for a whopping 10 mins! it's a battery problem.

Try giving HP a call. You said you had it for about 11 months so you just might be able to get a new one under warranty. It can't hurt to try, the worst they can do is to say no.
