Well, i really really hate to do this. But every time there is a new update, i can't help myself :(

    I did it again...
    ....................................................................................
So yesterday i decided to try out 12.3 leshcat driver.

I did exactly as leshcat FAQ: installed DSE, ran YUC (plus driver sweeper afterward)

I went on running ccc installer, got INF was not found first time.

Checked Device Manager, somehow the driver was still there, so uninstalled it myself. So at this point i got 2 "Standard VGA Graphic adapter" (with one cannot be started, said by windows)

Uninstalled everything, restarted and try again. CCC installer didnt show up any error this time but warning log said that AMD display driver installation failed.

Thought everything was in place except for drivers. So I opened up Device Manager again and installed the 2 driver manually by pointing to INF file. Windows said: "There is no driver selected for the device information set or element"

I went back installing HP stock driver + Official 12.3. But it didn't work either. Same error as before

I ended up with 2 Standard VGA graphic adapters without the ability to install anything. I even tried with windows update, no hope, it downloaded but showed "there is no driver selected...." afterward

But then I thought I might try it in safe mode and see what happen. Nothing happened! Booted into normal mode again. After 3 4 attempts of uninstalling restarting the default windows' drivers. It magically successfully recognized the cards correctly and installed drivers on itself (!) These drivers didn't cope with CCC so i have to install it again to get it working.

So that's the story of me updating graphic drivers... After 4 hours i ended up exactly where i started. And i still dont know how i could get it work :(

It's nice if somebody just tell me what i was doing wrong or what's the problem with my computer...

    Thank you

Forget YUC, download Atiman Uninstaller 6.3.1 and use automatic uninstallation. After it reboot and finished everything, use DriverSweeper to remove AMD and Intel HD display driver.

After that install HP stock driver as base.

Problem is that Windows wont install any display driver saying that no driver selected even if i get it clean...
Any chance that driver sweeper deleted something it didnt suppose to, which causing windows to act crazy?
I'm thinking about a clean windows installation...

Happened to me last week when i tried to install Leshcat's 12.3 and revert back to 12.2. Display driver kept failing to install.

In the end, Atiman + DriverSweeper + HP driver fixed it.
