I was using msn yesterday and did something while typing that reversed the function of two buttons on my keyboard. When i hit Shift + (Quote Button next to enter) i get this symbol "@" and i get the quotes when i hit Shift + 2. Now this "freaky friday" type thing is happening only when i type on MSN. The correct symbols come up in all other programs. What in the world happened there?!

For some reason your keyboard is functioning as a UK keyboard in MSN. Might help if you reinstall MSN. Don't know of any setup that may have caused this though...

ok then i guess i'll reinstall

If you have a default setting button in your regional and language or keyboard in control panel, resetting it will fix it. Well it did for me when something similar happened to me using an external k/b.

i tried that, it didn't work but now i have a big EN next to the keyboard symbol which bothers me dyou know how i can close it without removing the keyboard icon?
Thanks anyways S_P_Q_R -
How about a restore, since it wasn't there yesterday?
