    Hello
    I just bought my first hp - it's model dm4 3011tx.
    It comes with Coolsence 2.1.

Because I share cabin, I need to be in the night as quiet as possible, so I would really welcome to have Thermal Assistant as well.

Does anyone know, why there is only Coolsence?
Can I put on my laptop Thermal?

There is not such an option. Coolsence can be "on" and "off".
It seems to be working quite ok, but Thermal control with quiet option sounds to me very interesting.
If anyone has experienced succefly to install Thermal onto dm4, please let me know. Thanks.

Newer coolsense has Quiet, Performance, and Coolest. I guess take a screenshot of where you've got "on" and "off". Maybe it's different on the DM4.

That's mine too. It should be version 1.0.1.4, an older version of coolsense. I also tried updating it to 2.0 or 2.1 without success though...

Coolsense is incorporated with HP Support Assistant. Get the latest version of Support Assistant and coolsense will be installed too.
