    Hey guys:
    (New to this forum)
right now I'm in canada, and I am thinking getting a new laptop. On "Hp shopping ca " this laptop costs 799 bucks without shipping charge... i do like gaming with some graphic requirements...

So, is this laptop capaple of handle all the current games and up-coming ones in medium-high settings? I think Hd5650 is ok, but not quite sure with i5 430, as well as its 5400 rpm harddrive...

my bugget can go as far as 1000$ (everything included), probably it's the best thing I can get...

    Any suggestions out there?

    Thanks a lot :)))))

I can't recommend the dv6. It has so many possible problems that you're pretty much sure to get at least a couple of them. It's hot, it's loud, the battery might not sit flush with the unit, the screen takes a ton of adjusting to get it looking half-decent, it has so much bloatware that it probably adds physical weight to the thing (yay hyperbole), the trackpad is a finicky mess that you'll either tollerate or want to burn in a fire... Really, you can find something better.

Ah....Sounds that serious? cuz I hv read a review about the dv6 somewhere this forum saying that the heating is not a problem...the battery won't fit...sounds a little bit out of track tho...

but for a buget under 1000$( plus tx,ship...)...i cant rly find anything comes with hd5650 and i5...

It's only hot for some people (like me). The CPU gets above 90C easily when gaming on mine.

Well, if you get lucky enough to get one without major problems, you'll love it. I loved mine for thr first two weeks.
