    Thinking about buying HP Compaq nc6400. Anything I should know?

    As a general rule of thumb, I never buy the latest and greatest because of cost. Hence, I am looking at getting a used or refurbished HP Compaq nc6400 as a secondary machine for my work.

    I have used other HP Compaq products in the past, like the nc6230, and I am satisfied with the quality and features.

    Is the nc6400 a good machine? Any common issues I should know about? Thanks in Advance.

    Just thought i would comment on the state of the refurbished laptop i got directly from hp business. I ordered an nx6325, and i swear it looks as if the laptop had never so much as typed out a paragraph of text. I would say it was in "pristine" shape. My sister ordered a 17" consumer model refurbished from hp, and her laptop arrived in likewise perfect shape. I would stay away from any refurbs that dont come directly from hp however.

    My nc6400 has held up very well. I've had it for nearly 11 months so far.
