Any thoughts? I think that will be my last hope, as it doent look like theyre going to have another one of those $450 off deals like before. That would have been prefect, but alas, a day late a dollar short. Anyone have any ideas. Is there any kind of return policy with hp if it new?

I'm not sure if the 1 year mfg warranty (and capacity to buy additional extended warranty) is transferrable, I would double check with HP before making the purchase whether you need the seller to complete any additional documents.

I imagine it would be extremely difficult to arrange to return the unit within the 21 day return period if the ebay seller bought it from hp direct, as HP would credit the sellers credit card or paypal account, not yours.

You might want to keep an eye on bing cashback, as the rate for HP direct has fluctuated between 5% to 10% and 25% within the past few weeks - I recently got $1000 off a purchase consisting of an Envy 15 for my wife + total care, plus extra slice battery and printer for myself

you can buy it with the coupon and sell it off ebay, the warranty should be transferrable, buy you are likely to make more money selling it overseas (no warranty).
