    Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an HP Envy 15 but I have some questions/concerns hopefully some of you may be able to help me out with.

I've owned a Dell XPS m1530 which had an aluminum palmrest which made is extremely easy to dent/ding. How durable is the Envy's shell? Is it thicker than just standard aluminum?

Heat. I've read a bunch of reviews and a couple of them said it was ok on heat others said it can get pretty bad. What's the consensus on this matter? Does it get Macbook Pro Hot? ie make it uncomfortable to be on your lap.

I currently own an Alienware M15X and really like it. I especially love the ability to upgrade the processor/video card. I know the Envy has an integrated card but what about the CPU? Can you upgrade to something along the lines of an 820qm or 920xm?

Also it's been a while since HP has done anything to the Envy 15, anyone know of any new revisions/updates coming out? Or anything else within the Envy line?

Any problems I should know about before switching over?

    Thanks for any help guys!

The only thing HP has done recently with the Envy 15 is take it off their site. They might reintroduce it sometime in the future, but nobody knows when.
