I'm thinking of buying a dv7 6000. I could be wrong, but I think this is in the US a dv7t. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is the noise.People who have this laptop:is it very loud? Also, in the dv7 6000 you can choose between a i5 processor and an i7. Could that make a big difference in noise?

    Thanks!

Not at all. I have played with my son's Pavillion all week long (dvt7 QE) and it is very quiet, even when the fans kick in. Very pleased...
