    Hi,

    Well in Comet they are selling the DV7 1135a for £799. I think it is a very good price, but just wondered if you have any opinions on the laptop? or if there is an equivalent Sony/Acer laptop you would recommend.

    Avoid this laptop. Too much overheating related issues with the AMD core. Don't know about Acer these days but I had one before that would run really hot (touchpad would get way too hot after 15-20 minutes). Also, try posting your answers to the FAQ so that we can get a better idea what your needs are. :D
