They are actually really good! I ordered my HP dv9000t and got the All-In-One C3110 and it prints beautifully. Anyone else have experiences to share about these printers?

Yeah, they now come with half or 1/3 full cartridges. I found that the free printers seem to use the most expensive inks... =\

It's kind of like Shell giving away SUVs- you have to wonder what their strategy is.....

The cheaper the printer the more ink costs...that's the strategy. They'll actually get more money over time because of that.

Not true. Inks cost roughly the same. The cartridges are of different size, but you pay accordingly for more ink in them.

I was actually shocked to see the prices of ink for the free deskjet f380 that came with my laptop. Color, b&w, even photo cartridges are all under 20 bucks direct from HP. Pretty **** cool if you ask me. The printer and scanner work great too. Great speed, and the ink resists smearing 10x better than the other 2 Lexmark Z4x series I use around the house.

Yeah the ink is really expensive but I just bought a refill kit from ebay so I get like 100 refills for $30, color and black. Otherwise I would've sold the printer to some unsuspecting person. ;)

I found out why the ink is so cheap for the free F380 I got with my notebook... each cartridge is only good for a claimed 150 pages. Lexmark, Epson, and others get 400+ pages per cartridge. Oh well, I'm still really impressed by print quality, and I haven't had a working scanner in years, so that's nice.
