    It's another dv4z variant. The configuration looks decent, the price is excellent. I'm very happy with my dv4z. Battery life should be close to 2.5 hours with a 6 cell, I get close to 5 hours with my 12.

    Its not bad for its price but matters do you want to bring out your laptop all the time or just sometimes? Also you always want Intel, AMD gets way to hot, I have an AMD HP Way to hot sometimes compared to my Dell and Asus which both have intel never gets hot except for gaming sessions. Also what programs do you want to run?

    I agree. I have an intel P8400 in mine, and it has very little heat, and very low power consumption.

    Apparently I get all the magic AMD chips that don't run hot. Plus I much prefer the AMD/ATI chipsets the current HP AMD notebooks come with.
