    Does the speed difference warrant an upgrade? I have the X-25M Intel and am looking into the Crucial M4...

    Envy 17 3D 2xxx model with SATA III capability..

    from a point and click standpoint no. I have both. Yes III is way faster. But going from II to III on bootup and point and click times didnt not change much. File transfers did. But thats about all I noticed really.

    Bootup time might have shaved a couple seconds, but thats it.
