Since you can specify a program when you hold three fingers on the trackpad, if there was a simple program that could right-click for you, then you can have it launch that program, which would right-click.
I don't know of any programs like that, and will try to find (virus-free and simple) ones on google. Will let you know.

IF ANYONE ALREADY KNOWS OF ONE, PLEASE BEAT ME TO IT!

so far the things I have found help you customize the right-click to make it launch apps, etc. DANG

I tried to update the Touchpad Driver manually and it turns out that (can't be sure which one is newer they were both 7.5.something) the one that was already installed by HP has an option for three-finger press, the one I manually installed (latest on Synaptic site) removed the option, so I rolled the driver back. But i did download Srybe from their site, it's really nice. You hold down control and shift and make a gesture on the trackpad (M for media player, etc even for copy and cut and paste) and it launches a lot of things.

NO LUCK WITH CUSTOM PROGRAM TO RIGHT CLICK THOUGH, help would be appreciated!

I don't understand your need for a program that right clicks. What is wrong with the right mouse button?

I don't have a problem with it, and I like that it is very sturdy, but a few people mentioned that it was too hard for them, and I admit that it is a little bit harder than I am used to. But if I can get this working then I don't have to use the buttons at all during average use (unless I am doing heavy photoshopping, etc).

Just messin' around to see if it's possible.

You can enable tap zones in the synaptic control panel. This allows you to tap a corner to simulate a button press. My bottom right is set to middle click. If you are using the HP Synaptic driver you will need to be some modding of the register to enable it.

So if I use the driver from Synaptics I can set what I want for Edge buttons, but HP's uses the edge (top left) to turn off the trackpad, and there fore disables modifying them. HP just did a small mod there for themselves!

The only problem with this is that modding the registry to enable this makes it messy. I didn't have too much time to play with the registry so mine look like this...

I'm sure if you have time you can mod the registry to change the size of the window so you can access everything. You may also by able to use the official synaptic driver, but that would disable top left for "disable touchpad."

What did you change in the registry, I really need experience with that. Usually I opt to not mess with it...

In all honesty, I don't remember. I remember deleting Visibility keys form some of the registry locations dealing with tap zones. There were some guides I followed online, but they were out of date. I had to forge my way were they left off. I want to say I deleted Visibility form
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Synaptic/SynTPCpl/Controls/5ClickZones
and everything instance of Visibility in the Dialog folder in 5ClickZones.

    Hope that works for you

get reil's touchpad app made for the envy 14 touchpad. i've been using it religiously since i got my envy 14 - second envy 14 - dv6t-4000 - and now dv6t-6000. it solves all you multitouch gesture woes.

    From:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-envy-hdx/502589-e14-trackpad-discussion-only.html

you can download the actual app at:
Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

the settings that i change from default:
    general: start with windows
scrolling: inertial scroll to easeinquad, duration 720
tapping: 1 finger tap disabled (you still can tap because of synaptic driver, or else each of your single tap is a weird double tap. you can disable the single tap from synaptic as well, but then you lose functionalities like double tapping top left corner to disable touchpad)

    and in synaptic:
    disable pinch to zoom
    disable double finger/side scroll
enlarged the touchzone to the entire trackpad surface
palm check filter activation moved to 0ms.

This would let you forgo all of the buttons together
    - single tap is left click
    - double tap and hold for click and drag
    - double tap for double click
    - two finger tap for right click
    - two finger scroll with inertial scrolling
    - 3 finger tap for middle mouse click
