    anyone know how to access the screws on the pavilion dv6500 in order to tighten the lid, mine is getting very loose? thanks

    If your talking about tightening hinge, follow this video guide.

    There should be six screws holding it down.

    You only really need to remove the keyboard and switch cover to have access to that area.

    that was the fastest and greatest reply ever! thank you so much. I just chatted with an HP tech and he directed to the manual, where it doesn't even say how to tighten the hinges. Thanks Again!
