    Hi,
I don't know if ppl has asked this question before, I couldnt find any when I used the search function.
Anyway, my dv1000t battery icon doesnt display how much time left. Can anybody please help me to activate that feature? I know my old Compaq used to have it.
    Thanks

None of the newer HP's seem to be capable of displaying the time remaining. They probably removed tha feature or messed up somewhere with the settings.

That depends on the motherboard. I have a v2110 (intel based) and it displays time remaining. One of my friend's v2000z (sempron based) doesn't show remaining time.

They don't have the same motherboard. I guess you can't really know before you try.
